He won’t be cold
He’s got a swag.
Won’t be hungry
Good tin dog

Interspersed with eating out.
On the best, that’s about.
Best in stock camps,
best of pubs,
best invited going out.

Rugged against a stiff chill breeze,
canvas ground sheet, beats the freeze.
Until tomorrow’s sun appears.
And all is well and warm and bright.

Looking out, brand new daylight.
